Here's one you'll like, Lenni...

Battle of the Rich Rags Drummers!

I stick up three RR tracks, from 3 different
periods, and we find out which drummer the mob
likes the best (you can do polls with this
Hostboard contraption, right?) Feel free to
choose the track which represents you, otherwise
it'll be something like this:

Big Trouble [Bedlam EP] - feat. Lenni
Radio Charlie Manson [demo] - feat. Nick
Kill Suburbia [Psycho.. CD] - feat. Davey

'Ave it!

Lenni was probably the most inventive and chaotic, Nik was definitely the most technical, and Dave was as slack as Elton Johns sphincter but did what he was told.

The drumming on badham is awsome and I had forgetton until recently just how mad it is. Only 2 or 3 takes too. John Spence, the producer was big fan of Lenni's when we record those songs.
RCM is as tight as a clams arse and the big snare sounds like Matt Sorum. Unfortunately we hated the Studio from day one and my only memory of it is everyone bitching and the wank parlour massage place next door.

K/S, Ginger always says how fucking bored he is of playing TV tan but its such a crowd favoutite. Same with K/S for me. never one of my favs but always a song that comes up. Dave could never get the beginning right on this although it was written and performed with Nik the previous dummer.

Thanks D. This is a difficult one for me but I think Mr Hunter has nailed it. (never knew you cared). I personally concerned myself with how the song sounded and not what I did, as long as it was in time and flowed. When Bedlam/Badham was recorded I was pretty much at the top of my game and hence pretty proud of the result. I feel alot of that was down to Paul (Angel) who has got to be the best bass player I have ever worked with, not due to technical ability but the feel and understanding we had, (less is more).

As for the other guys Nick was definiteley more technical but so not Rich Rags (not bitchin just an opinion) and Davey he was so similar in style to me but not quite on it, he just needed to relax (again just my opinion) fuckin lovely bloke, we used to get on like an house on fire. I do regret not sticking it out with the Rags and I would have loved to have done the album (things would have been different) but my life was so fucked at the time and I made a choice, in hindsight probably the wrong one.

Ahh fuck it, I go Liberace.

P.S. Johnny was the worst fuckin drum tech ever, but you needed him to be there.
